The suburb of Richmond is located in the Windsor Region of New South Wales, Australia. It is situated around 55 kilometers northwest of Sydney CBD and covers an area of 5.5 square kilometers. The suburb is governed by the City of Hawkesbury.
Richmond has a population of around 6,000 people and is known for its historic buildings, parks and recreational facilities.
One of the main landmarks in Richmond is the Richmond Bridge, which is the oldest existing bridge on the Australian mainland. It was built in 1823 and spans over the Hawkesbury River.
